Absolutely love Marissa’s care and attention to detail during her cuts. She has maintained my long hair while also ready for the switch to go short. She has an eye for what will work with your head and hair to get you right.

I moved to Scottsdale about 2 years ago. Before I even left Boston obviously I needed to find the right barbershop. I searched a little bit and came across First &Mane. At first I liked the look/vibe of the shop, but it quickly became a sanctuary for me. I booked an appointment with Justin and I have come here every other week since. I can’t say enough good things about the people here, the shop itself, how professionally it’s ran. They have all become friends of mine. I’m very happy to see where Dru and the crew takes this. 1000/10.

I’ve been going to First and Mane for a while now, and it’s hard to imagine going anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, you’re always greeted in a friendly and professional manner. Whether you have an appointment or are just walking in. Their booking system is clear and transparent, so you always know exactly what to expect from the services provided.

I get my haircut by JRod, and he’s truly a master of his craft. Not only is he professional and friendly, but he can cut any type of hair with precision and attention to detail. He always takes the time to ask what look you’re going for, ensuring you leave with the exact style you want every time.

The shop itself has a great atmosphere, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with TVs and music that make the experience enjoyable. All of the barbers here are welcoming, highly skilled, and consistently deliver quality cuts. Even if you can’t book with your usual barber, you can trust that whoever you sit with will meet your expectations.

Dru, the owner, has set the standard for how a barbershop should be managed. First and Mane delivers on both professionalism and great vibes every single time.

Last barber really did a number on my hair and Dru was able to get me right. Great cute, cool guy and the shop is a vibe.

All of the employees at the shop make you feel welcome right when you enter. The environment is very unique as it makes me feel at home and proud to call First & Mane my barbershop. Justin Rodriguez always has great conversations with me while he cuts my hair. Every time I leave, I feel like a brand new man!

The guy cut my hair way too short (Nate). I showed him a video with a 360 view of how to cut my decently long hair. He cut the sides and back way too short initially causing him to have to cut a lot of the top of my hair to make it even. Did not follow the video closely at all and I really felt bad paying $50 for Nate to basically cut too much hair off even though I told him I wanted to preserve my perm. Not a good experience at all, he is a cool dude but did a poor job on my hair. If you have Asian hair, do NOT go to this place they tend to cut hair too short.

Man I can’t say enough good about this barbershop and Teddy in specific! I’m not from Scottsdale, I was here visiting on a trip and had gone to a different barbershop in the area for a haircut and they messed me up pretty bad. Immediately googled another barbershop and booked with Teddy and he completely saved me! Easy guy to talk to, super down to earth, knowledgeable on what would look best for you in specific and very skilled! I definitely recommend Teddy and this barbershop if you’re looking for a good haircut.

I can’t say enough good things about Caleb at First & Mane. This dude is the real deal. From the moment you sit in his chair, it’s clear how much pride he takes in his craft — his attention to detail is next-level. Every cut is sharp, clean, and exactly what I asked for (if not better).

Beyond the cut, Caleb’s just a super cool dude, Chill vibe, great conversation, and always professional. Really easy to work with when it comes to scheduling — he’s been incredibly flexible and reliable, which makes getting a cut stress-free.

While the atmosphere and cleanliness of the shop can be praised non stop, the real star of the show for me is Nate. I scheduled with him this morning and he far exceeded my expectations. Not only was the haircut incredible, but it is also important to note the kind of man Nate is. He is an exceptional conversationalist who displays genuine care for the work he was doing. The trust and connection he was able to create almost instantly was palpable and I will absolutely be coming back to him.

Dru, Diego, and Nate (the only barbers I’ve had an experience with) are all phenomenal. It’s evident the pride Dru takes in the shop and his hires.

I was referred to them via a couple of my friends who have been getting consistent haircuts there from the owner Dru. My friends only had the best things to say about him so I decided to check him out, that turned out to be a very good choice. Dru is nothing short of a pro. While delivering the best haircut you’ll ever get in your life he also delivers amazing hospitality, he’s a great guy and loves what he does. Everyone who works at First & Mane is very professional and very kind as well. I’ve been going to First and Mane for about a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My barber, Dru, who also owns the shop, is the only barber I will go to now.
